Become a great teacher. Make a difference.

At United Teaching, we bring out the best in every trainee. Our Ofsted ‘Exceptional’ programme combines research-led training, expert mentoring, and dedicated wellbeing support to help you become the teacher you aspire to be.

As a school-based teacher training programme (SCITT), you will gain real classroom experience from day one. Many trainees choose this route because it offers a highly practical and immersive way to train, learning directly in schools, receiving daily support from experienced teachers, and building confidence through hands-on teaching from the start. Our one-year route offers both salaried and fee-paying options for aspiring primary and secondary teachers, leading to QTS with the option to add a PGCE.

With more than 110 schools across England, you can train in a location that works for you.
